Driving lesson abroad

Driving lesson abroad

My hilarious experience at a driving lesson abroad ?

The first time I went for a driving test in obodo oyibo, I went with full confidence. Me wey drive for 10 years in Lagos without bashing any car, in my head, that alone is enough qualification.

At my turn, the lady came inside the car, asked for the papers, saw my name, and asked, "Which country are you from?"

Me: "Nigeria" with all confidence!

She looked at me and said "PSquare".

Omo, this oyibo sabi o, Ha! I answered yes with a smile. You know them? I asked.

She: Yes. I love their music. I know virtually all their songs.

In my head, I can't fail this test. This person wey love PSquare no go fit fail Naija guy.

When she finished checking the papers, she gave the instructions and said I should drive.

I sha drive to and fro, we came back, I parked and looked at her with a smile, emi omo Naija!

She talked, talked, and talked, then said "sorry you failed your test"! ???

Ha! Emi omo Naija! Failed bawo? Wetin happen?

She said "you are not checking your shoulders"!

That was when I realized the majority of those driving cars in Nigeria are just car movers because how many people dey check shoulders? The gidigbo wey we dey drive no enter obodo oyibo o.

Yours truly have to retry the test two more times before dem finally pass me.
