The methodical approach and process of creating computer programmes and applications to address issues or carry out certain computing tasks is known as computer programming.
Programming dates back to the year 1206 AD. Because machine code was initially expressed in binary format, it served as the early programming language for computers. Subsequently, programmers were able to specify instructions in a text format by using assembly language.
When mathematician Ada Lovelace used Charles Babbage's Analytical Engine to create an algorithm to solve a series of Bernoulli numbers in 1843, the first computer programme was born.
